The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest and well developed department of the institute . It was opened in 1962. it has produced several eminent diploma engineers. the department has well qualified and exprienced devotional faculty. The department has accredited by National Board of Accredited , AICTE Department has following well equipped laboratories-
Heat & Mass Transfer Lab , Heat Engines Lab, Refrigeration & Air- Conditioning Lab , CAT Lab and Material Science Lab.
