Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
Department was established in the year of 2000 keeping in view the boom in IT sector. With the inception of department, the faculty and staff of department had worked hard and make all possible efforts for development of department.
The faculty of the department are continuously involved in the research, Project work, regular organizing the expert lectures, workshop and demonstration of recent technology so that the students of departments are remain in touch with the recent developments taking place in Industry and society. Well qualified staff, Good academic atmosphere, well equipped labs having facilities of work on some recent technologies like robotics, mobile communication, optical fiber are the specialties of the department.
Department running two courses –
1. Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication-Intake:30
2. Diploma in IC( Integrated Circuit) Manufacturing (Start in Current Session-2023-24)-Intake:30

1. Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: -Apply knowledge of basic mathematics,
science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering
problems.
2. Problem analysis: – Identify and analyze well –defined engineering problems using codified
standard methods.
3. Design/Development of Solutions: – Design Solutions for well –defined technical problems and
assist with the design of system components or processes to meet specified needs.
4. Engineering Tools, Experimentation and testing: – Apply modem engineering tools and
appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
5. Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate
technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
6. Project Management: -Use Engineering management principles individually, as a team member
or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined Engineering
activities.

Electronics Device and circuit Lab
This lab will introduce student to the basic as well as advance concepts of Electronics Devices, Power and Industrial Electronics, motor control with automation using microcontroller etc. He will understand in lab the basic behavior and characteristics of different electronics components and its applications in circuits and systems.
Equipment: Different types of electronics components trainer kits, controlled &uncontrolled single phase &three phase rectifier circuits, phase angle, V/F, PWM based industrial motor control systems, microprocessor/microcontroller-controlled systems, Induction heater and all necessary measuring equipment.
Communication Lab
This laboratory is intended for performing lab exercises for studying Analog &Digital modulation and demodulation systems, Audio &Video systems, working and fault detection in audio, video and TV systems, optical fiber communication system, Keying system etc. This lab has got funding from AICTE New Delhi for modernization and purchase of advance equipment.
Equipment: Different types of modulation/demodulation trainer kits, CROs, DSOs, oscillator, function generator of all range, audio, video &TV trainer kits, complete system of optical fiber and mobile communication trainer kits and all other measuring equipment.
Instrumentation &Control Lab
The purpose of the lab is to give a practical approach on the fundamental principle of different types of transducer system. Monitor, analyze and control any physical system. This lab will also provide the understanding the working of various analog &digital instruments, AC/DC bridges, Microprocessor controlled systems etc. This lab also has got funding from AICTE New Delhi for modernization and purchase of advance equipment
Equipment: All types of resistive, capacitive and inductive transducer systems, DC and AC Bridges like: KLEVIN Bridge, Anderson Bridge, Schering Bridge, Hay’s Bridge, WEIN’S Bridge and Maxwell Bridge. CRO working model of different equipment and CRO.
Electronics workshop and PCB Lab
The purpose of the lab is to give a practical approach to students regarding identification, testing and fault finding in various components and circuits. This lab is mainly used for design and simulation of PCB for circuit using software like TINAPRO and then develop it using PCB fabrication tools. The lab is mainly used during design and fabrication of minor and major projects.
Equipment : All type of analog and digital measuring instruments , CROs, DSO, a good stock of all electronics components used in circuit fabrication Fabrication Tools, P.C.B. Lab with facilities of process camera, Ultra Violet exposure Unit, Photo Resist Dip, Coating Machine, Etching machine, High Speed Drilling Machine, Roller Tinning Machine, Motor Hand Drill machine with Drill bits and all other necessary systems
- The labs of Department are well equipped with some recent technologies systems like Robotics system, IoT based projects, advanced kit of Digital communication and Instrumentation.
- Within ten years from inception of Department, it has got two times financial assistance from AICTE New Delhi for modernization of labs under MOROBs scheme.
- Received Financial assistance two times from MPCOST Bhopal for Organizing Seminars.
- Organized 240 hours Computer Hardware & Networking course for students under Digital India Programme of Govt. of India.
- Department project has got winner prize in state level exhibition for their project.

PLACEMENT
Department has an excellent placement record and the pass out are well placed and playing leading role in different organizations like EIL, Dhoot communication, Bharat Oman refinery, L&T India, Daikin Air-conditioning Pvt. Ltd Samsung Display Noida, Bharat Electronics Limited, Piecodes Private Limited, YKK India and many other Indian and abroad based companies. Apart from these excellent placements, most of the final year pass out are selected for B.E. course in different state Engineering colleges through Lateral entry scheme of every year.
